peace education conference

Wychwood School was thrilled to host its inaugural Peace Education Conference for schools in Oxford during the weekend of Saturday 11th – Sunday 12th November. Wychwood pupils were joined by Wychwood’s Peruvian Immersion group, as well as pupils from local schools such as Cherwell College and Didcot Girls’ School. 

With keynote addresses from authoritative academics in their field, the conference provided a great opportunity for young people, aged 15-18, to meet, learn and discuss core issues surrounding climate change, migration and peace. It was great to see pupils from different cultures and communities coming together to listen and share ideas, and all were impressed with how they responded to and tackled the topics and discussions.
