Residential
Our residential Summer School offers the opportunity to spend time as a boarder in a traditional British boarding school in the heart of Oxford. Wychwood School was established in 1897 with a vision to offer forward thinking educational opportunities and our Summer School continues this inspiration.
Accommodation
Staying at Wychwood School is a wonderful experience. We provide a secure, safe and happy community where students can learn effectively and enjoy relaxed social times with their friends. Our wonderful location enables our students to make the most of Oxford in the form of evening excursions.
Our characterful, cosy and traditional dormitory rooms are configured in 1- 4 beds. Single rooms will be allocated to older students. Our caring and supportive house parents will be on hand to make sure that students have a safe and enjoyable stay. Our house parents and staff will be on hand to attend to medical needs when required.

Food

We are very lucky at Wychwood to be partnered with Palmer and Howells, a specialist in educational catering. Our in-house development chefs and sports nutritionists work closely with the school and pupils to ensure that our meals are delicious, varied, and nutritious. We like to take into account cultural preferences and to ensure that all dietary requirements are met.

Each day, students will enjoy a hot or continental breakfast, a snack at morning break, a lunch consisting of a hot meal and variety of sides and salad options, an afternoon snack and a hot evening meal. Main meals are eaten together in the dining room where students will have the opportunity to meet other students on different summer courses at the school.

For full day excursions or courses that are delivered off site, a packed lunch is provided.

Trips and Excursions
Wychwood School is an excellent location from which to explore many historical and culturally significant places. Within walking distance, our students can explore the spires of Oxford and within easy distance, London and Bath.

If you join our Summer School as a residential student, each one week programme includes a full Saturday excursion to either, London or Bath. If you choose to join us for two weeks or more, you will also have the opportunity to visit Wembley Stadium or the Harry Potter Studios.
