Music is an integral part of life at Wychwood and the sound of the pupils playing their musical instruments or singing reverberates through the school from morning until night. Over 50% of pupils have music lessons with our peripatetic team of teachers and this is celebrated in school assemblies, concerts and at special events such as our annual carol service. Every pupil is encouraged to enjoy music whatever their level of experience or skill.

Our choir and ensembles are based on the interests and skill sets of the pupils, changing each year to accommodate and involve as many pupils as possible. This results in a diverse musical culture with something to excite everyone.
