At Wychwood School, the safety and wellbeing of our students is our top priority. We are committed to providing a positive and supportive environment where every student feels valued, respected, and protected. We adhere to all relevant legislation and guidelines regarding safeguarding and child protection.

Trained and approachable staff
All staff undergo thorough background checks and are trained in safeguarding best practices.
We have dedicated Designated Safeguarding Leads readily available to listen to any concerns, big or small.
Students are encouraged to speak to any of our team of house parents and staff if they need help or support.

We foster an inclusive and respectful environment where everyone feels welcome and valued.
We have clear behavioural expectations, and we support all of ours students to meet these standards.

Secure campus and activities
Our campus is secure and supervised at all times.
Activities are carefully planned and risk assessed to ensure student safety and wellbeing.
First-aid facilities are readily available, and appropriate medical support is provided, if needed.

We understand that being away from home can be challenging, and we are here to support students experiencing homesickness.
