Wychwood joins the Oxford Bus Partnership (OSBP)
26th April 2018
We are delighted to be joining the Oxford Bus Partnership (OSBP) from September.
To offer a dedicated fleet of vehicles to provide a comprehensive network of individual school bus services is not feasible for one school, lest one the size of Wychwood.
However, as a group of schools, d’Overbroeck’s, The Dragon, Headington School, Magdalen College School, Oxford High School, Rye St Antony and Wychwood share many families, so, the obvious solution is to work in partnership rather than separately.
The OSBP runs a series of routes around Oxfordshire and beyond to serve the seven schools.
There are currently ten routes on offer: Middleton Cheney, Bicester, Haddenham, Reading, Watlington, Goring, Sutton Courtenay, The A420 Corridor, Bourton-On-The-Water, and West Hanney.
The buses will drop girls off in the morning and collect them in the afternoon from outside Wychwood on Bardwell Road.
Girls can choose to travel on a morning service only, an afternoon service only and both ways. You will be asked to sign up for five days of the week, and we would advise that girls who stay for prep sign up for just the morning service, as the buses will leave from 4.10pm.
The cost of the service will depend on where you live and bookings are now being taken for September.
We are delighted to be on board this service and we hope it makes travelling to Wychwood easier for your daughters.
