Shell Trip to National Portrait Gallery
13th September 2018
As part of the GCSE Fine Art syllabus I will be taking the Shell students to the National Portrait Gallery to see the BP Portrait Exhibition on Tuesday 18th September.
We will leave school at 9.00am and walk to Gloucester Green to catch the Oxford Tube to Marble Arch. We will then walk from Marble Arch to the National Portrait Gallery. We will return back to school by 6.00pm.
The bus fare will be £15 per student and this will be billed home at the end of term. I would advise girls to bring a small amount of money for the gift shop to buy postcards to put in their sketchbooks.
A packed lunch will be provided from school. Pupils will need to bring their sketchbooks and dry drawing materials so they can work within the gallery. All pupils will need to wear suitable shoes as the day will involve a lot of walking.
