Safer Internet Day 2017

26th April 2017

To mark the Safer Internet Day 2017 Mrs Stephenson involved our girls in the campaign #giveasmile to make the internet a better place! Mrs Evans found it difficult to choose the winning emoji and it was the one which she thought best expressed the message for SID2017: Be the change: Unite for a better internet. Mrs Johnson presented Rebecca, the winner, with Malorie Blackman’s amazing book: Chasing the Stars.

This is what Rebecca said about her winning design:
The reason I chose to do an emoji covered in flags was because I thought it would be unique. I thought the idea of different countries coming together and being united was very positive, because the world should be one and not fighting.
