As you are no doubt aware, this is an exciting time for Study I, but very new to most parents and girls, so we want to take this opportunity to explain how we will guide you and your daughter through choosing the road they will take after Wychwood. As part of that preparation process, we would like to invite you to a Next Steps Evening on Tuesday 18th June, beginning at 6.30pm.
The evening will begin with a short introduction by Dr Donald, Head of UCAS and Extension, in the Hall, followed by an individual meeting with the member of staff who will be guiding your daughter in the coming months in terms of future plans. This will be an opportunity to discuss future directions (university/art college/ apprenticeships/gap year) and subjects that your daughter may be intending to pursue.
The team present on the night together with Dr Donald will comprise Mr Pennington, Head of Wychwood Sixth and Study Tutor from September 2019, Ms Sherlock, Deputy Head and Study Form Tutor, Mrs Stacey, Director of Studies, and Mrs Jarrett, Careers Coordinator. Every member of the team has considerable experience of the process which your daughter is about to go through, and we are all prepared to devote as much time as required to ensure that your daughter gains the advice and guidance necessary to approach this next stage of her education with confidence.
Please confirm your attendance by submitting the form below.
We are looking forward to discussing these exciting opportunities with you next week, but do feel free to contact us at any time with any questions or concerns relating to this process.
