Inters Trip to Coventry Cathedral
5th March 2020
I am writing to inform you of a Religious Studies visit that is taking place on Wednesday 11th March between 9.15am and 3.45pm for all Inters. As a part of our study on understanding the meaning of Jesus for Christians, we are visiting Coventry Cathedral. The visit will include a tour of the cathedral, a possible climb of the tower (dependent on weather) and a Religious Studies workshop focussing on the signs and symbols of the cathedral. The girls will have the opportunity to ask questions and develop a greater understanding and appreciation of Christianity and the important role that it plays in people’s lives.
It is likely that the weather will be cold and some of the tour will be outside. For this reason it is very important that the girls dress for winter weather with a thick coat, trousers and sensible shoes or boots. Hats and gloves are also recommended.
The approximate cost of the visit will be £20.
I am sure your daughter will be enriched by this learning experience but do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
With best wishes,
Mrs C Crossley
Head of Religious Studies
