Easter trip to Spain Information Evening
27th February 2020
Dear Parents / Guardians
I am writing to give you further details of our exciting forthcoming Study Trip to el Puerto de Santa Maria, Spain. I am delighted that we are able to go ahead with this trip, so thank you all for your support.
We will depart for el Puerto de Santa Maria as advertised on 30th March and return on 3rd April 2020. The flights are booked, and there will be coach transport from Wychwood.
The itinerary is coming together and I can confirm that as well as Spanish lessons in the Language School, the girls will be taking part in the following: a walking tour of El Puerto de Santa Maria, a tour of Cádiz (with churros and chocolate and shopping time included); a paella cooking lesson followed by flamenco dance; and a visit of monuments around Seville.
We are offering an information evening about the trip for you and the girls on Friday 28th February 2020 at 4.00pm in the Spanish room. It would be helpful if you could let me know if you can attend.
During this meeting, we will be able to make sure all necessary medical forms are completed. We would also like to remind you to ensure your daughter has a personal attack alarm and knows how to use it. (You can set it off accidentally). These alarms are not compulsory; however some students have found them reassuring in the past.
Any questions about the trip, or concerns you may have can be addressed at the meeting, but of course feel free to contact me in the meantime. We look forward to a really worthwhile and exciting visit to Spain, which will, I am sure, leave the girls with increased skill and confidence in and enjoyment of their Spanish.
With best wishes,
