CBSO letter of permission
16th January 2018
Dear Parents/ Guardians
On Tuesday 30th January I have arranged for the Remove, Inters and Lower Transits to attend a concert entitled ‘Music Through the Ages’ at Symphony Hall in Birmingham. The concert will be given by the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra.
We will be travelling on a coach to Birmingham, leaving at 9.30am on the 30th, and returning to school in time for afternoon lessons. The girls will be accompanied by myself and four other members of staff.
The girls should wear school uniform for the trip, as they will be attending normal lessons in the afternoon. Their school jackets must be worn.
As we will not be back in time for school lunch, the girls will be provided with a packed lunch to eat on the way back from the concert. They should also bring a water bottle with them, but eating and drinking is not permitted in the auditorium.
There is a small charge for taking part in this event, which will not exceed £20.
A risk assessment is being carried out by me, to be confirmed by the Head Mistress, of potential risk on the journey and during the visit. A copy of the assessment can be supplied to parents/guardians on request.
This trip is covered by the annual consent agreement, so you do not need to complete a permission slip for your daughter to participate.
If you have any queries or further questions about the trip, please do not hesitate to contact me.
