ISA Indoor Rowing Competition

Wychwood entered its first ISA sports event as a group of rowers travelled to St. Mary’s School, Gerrards Cross to take part in an indoor rowing competition. This was also a first for Wychwood having never competed in indoor rowing before. Pupils have been working hard this term, putting the time in on the ergs and it was great to give them the opportunity to compete. Without knowing what to expect, the aim was for pupils to just have fun and try their best. They did amazingly well with every pupil medalling in at least one event and nearly all pupils achieving personal bests! They had a brilliant day and are full of excitement as Wychwood looks forward to further rowing opportunities later in the term. Congratulations to all who took part!
