Wychwood School GCSE Results 2025: A Celebration of Excellence and Character

Wychwood’s 2025 GCSE results are a source of immense pride, reflecting the dedication, resilience, and intellectual curiosity of our pupils. With 92.8% of grades awarded at 9 – 4, this year’s cohort has performed well above national averages, demonstrating both academic rigour and the strength of our nurturing environment.

The proportion of top grades is particularly impressive: 42.9% of entries achieved 9 – 7, with nearly a quarter reaching the exceptional 9–8 range. Over half of all grades (58.9%) fell within the 9 – 6 bracket, affirming that high achievement is not the exception but the expectation at Wychwood.

These outcomes speak to the calibre of teaching and the pupils’ own commitment to learning and personal growth. Behind the statistics lies a culture of individualised support, where intellectual risk-taking is encouraged and every learner feels safe and valued.

Rooted in kindness, curiosity, and ambition, Wychwood’s ethos empowers pupils to flourish; academically and personally. These results are a testament to the strength of our community: to the teachers who inspire, the families who support, and most of all, to the pupils who have worked with determination and heart.

As they take their next steps, they do so with confidence, having built a foundation not just of knowledge, but of character.

Warmest congratulations to the Wychwood GCSE cohort of 2025.
